Komphela To Face Chiefs DC Hearing?

The Siya crew has been informed that Steve Komphela could face an internal hearing at Kaizer Chiefs given the club’s bad run of form.

Chiefs find themselves in a terrible vein of form at present having won just three of their last 15 games stretching back to last season, and after a barren run of more than two seasons now it appears that the club is starting to lose patience with him.

According to Siya sources, Komphela will be called in for an internal disciplinary committee hearing with the Amakhosi’s management during the international break, with the club’s board wanting answers as to why the club’s form has been so bad.




The Glamour Boys may be sixth in the Absa Premiership at present, however, have played more games than six of the 10 teams that are currently below them and face Mamelodi Sundowns in their first game back after the break.

It has previously been reported that Muhsin Ertugral is seen as a potential replacement for Komphela should he leave the club, although for the time being it appears that the current coach has the team’s backing.
