Komphela & Bobby ‘Summoned’ At Chiefs?

Kaizer Chiefs’ head coach, Steve Komphela, and team manager, Bobby Motaung, are believed to have been ‘summoned’ by the club regarding their poor form of late, this according to Siya sources.

The Amakhosi have won just three of their last 14 matches in all competitions and have only two wins in the Absa Premiership this season, as pressure continues to mount on Komphela and his team.

Chiefs haven’t won a single major trophy since the 50-year-old mentor arrived at Naturena and the Siya crew have previously reported that a bad result against Baroka FC this weekend could spell bad news for Komphela ahead of the upcoming international break.

The Siya crew has been led to believe that Komphela and Bobby Motaung were called into a meeting earlier this month, demanding answers about results and the commitment.

It is thought that Kaizer Motaung and other members of the club’s upper echelons want to know what is happening and how they plan on turning their fortunes around.

As previously reported, Muhsin Ertugral’s name has been bandied around at Naturena, viewed as a possible replacement should Komphela leave, with indications that the club wants a head coach that can nurture young talent and introduce youth players to their first team setup.
