Tebza Opens Up On Chippa Coaching Role

Following his appointment in a new role at Chippa United, Teboho 'Tebza' Moloi has spoken on how he plans going about exercising his duties at the club.Moloi has been appointed as the caretaker coach for the Port Elizabeth outfit after the club decided to relive Dan Malesela of his coaching duties.

“It is very easy for club chairmen to go with someone more experienced, tried and tested as compared to someone that has been an assistant and this appointment is a demonstration of the commitment by the executive chairman to give opportunities to aspiring coaches to show what they can offer. I am grateful and thankful to have been given an opportunity to coach this football club,” Moloi told Chippa’s official website.

In his first assignment in the new role, Moloi will lead Chippa to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium for their game against Platinum Stars this weekend.

“It is unfortunate that I come here on the back of a loss earlier this week but it was amazing to see the response from the players during training. They did not have their heads in the hole. We have an ambitious group that is eager to achieve things and fight for this club,” explained the former midfielder.
