Chiefs Register 32 Players, One New And Three Foreigners
Kaizer Chiefs registered a total of 32 players for the current Absa Premiership season, including recently promoted player, Yusuf Bunting.
The league released the registered squad lists for all 16 top-flight clubs today, with the Amakhosi having an average sized squad with just over 30 players registered for the campaign.
Teenage Hadebe, Gustavo Paez and Edmore Chirambadare are the three foreign players registered by Steve Komphela for the 2017/18 season, while the club has 10 players – including Hadebe – that are under the age of 23 on their list.
Bunting, the most recently promoted player, could be set to make his PSL debut this season after spending time in the MDC of late, and the 21-year-old will be hoping to make his mark if given the chance.
Siphiwe Tshabalala, 33, is the oldest player on the team, while 17-year-old Wiseman Meyiwa is the youngest player there.
