Kaizer Chiefs are continuing their hunt for a new striker, and appear to have been given a second chance at signing Cameroonian forward, Julien Ebah, after he arrived on trial.

The Mzansi updates sport reported back in July that the 26-year-old from Yaoundé was looking to join a club in Cyprus despite the Amakhosi’s interest, however that move seems to have fallen through.

Siya sources had previously revealed that the former Kapaz Ganja man was given an invitation to join the Glamour Boys on trial, and while he didn’t accept at the time, he has now been spotted at Naturena.

Steve Komphela is desperately on the hunt for a new attacker as he looks to try and turn around Chiefs’ fortunes in the coming months, and has already rejected several players such as Jonatan Philippe and Darren Lurie.

It remains to be seen how long the former Les Astres man will be given to impress, though he will be eager to try and leave a mark on Komphela once the team returns from their game in Pietermaritzburg this week.

Ebah – who was also a target for Algerian club, MC Alger, scored six goals in Azerbaijan in his last season before leaving at the end of May.
