Baxter Names Squad For WC Qualifier Against Burkina

Bafana Bafana head coach, Stuart Baxter has named his official 25-man squad for the country’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying encounter against Burkina Faso.

Bafana will host Burkina Faso next month, October 07, with the South African national team eager to regroup following their previous doubled-legged defeat against Cape Verde in the World Cup qualifiers.

South Africa’s chances of qualifying for the tournament have greatly decreased, with the national team also set to replay their clash against Senegal.

However, should there be a slight chance of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Bafana will look to go all out in their next encounters, gaining nothing less than wins on the rest of their journey.

Here’s Baxter’s official 25-man squad set to face Burkina Faso next month:

Goalkeepers:

Itumeleng Khune, Wayne Sandilands, Ronwen Williams

Defenders:

Morgan Gould, Erick Mathoho, Reeve Frosler, Thami Mkhize, Sifiso Hlanti, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Tebogo Langerman, Clayton Daniels

Midfielders:

Andile Jali, Hlompho Kekana, Bongani Zungu, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Themba Zwane, Keagan Dolly, Thulani Serero

Forwards:
