Vanessa Marawa makes a TV comeback
A couple of months after announcing her return to VUMA FM as a mid-morning presenter, seasoned model Vanessa Marawa has recently revealed that she's also making a TV comeback.
Vanessa will be joining forces with TV personality Jason Greer to challenge South African learners, and adults alike as they battle it out to see, who is the greatest word whizz of them all in a new game show on M-Net, called Spellbound.
It’s been exactly a decade since Vanessa survived the harsh conditions on a desolate island in Panama on the first Survivor South Africa (which she won).
She revealed that being a host on Spellbound is like coming home.
"I can’t believe that it was a whole ten years ago since I was on M-Net, but how fitting for me to come full circle again in the year that the channel is turning 30," she said in a statement.
Spellbound will test contestants’ word skills in a fun and interactive way, and will include super spellers from different age groups. There will be a round for primary school learners between the ages of 10 and 13, a round for high school learners between the ages of 14 and 18, and one for adults of all ages.
