EFF supporters have run riots
EFF supporters have run riots through Tshwane after instructions by the
organisation's leader(Julius Malema) to occupy the streets to ensure that the
Capital City do not operate as all the shops are closed, eventually clashing
with police who have had to resort to teargas to disperse growing crowds
outside the Union Buildings.
A host of activists, business and civil society leaders called for change
in government on Wednesday during #SaveSouthAfrica demonstrations throughout
the country.
The DA and EFF were granted permission to march in the CBD in
support of Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan’s court appearance on fraud charges.
Those charges have since been dropped.
People, especially motorists, should avoid the CBD at all costs, he said.

Sunnyside and Arcadia have also been affected by the marchers as there were two

EFF groups were marching in several streets in all directions in the CBD.
