RIP: Maritzburg Midfielder Passes On In Car Accident

The South African football fraternity has suffered another loss after Mlondi Dlamini was sadly killed in what's believed to be a car accident.

Dlamini, who was only 20 years old, made his debut for the Team of Choice earlier this year. He came on for the side against SuperSport United last season and was thought to be a player for the future at the club.



The club's chairman, Farook Kadodia, has confirmed to the media that the young midfielder has tragically passed away after a car accident, with the club set to reveal full details on the situation later today, on Monday.

It's another blow for Maritzburg, only around a year after they lost Mondli Cele - also in a car accident - although at this point the full details are not known.
