Former Chiefs Midfielder Impresses In Malta

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Chris Matombo, is reviving his career overseas.

Matombo, 24, is playing for Qormi FC in the Maltese First Division. He scored a goal and created two others as his side beat Pieta Hotspurs 4-1 in their league game on the weekend.

The goal he scored on Saturday was his second this season.

Qormi are at the top of the log, after winning all five games they have played so far this campaign.

Matombo joined the club in August after impressing them during his trial with the team. He has previously also played for Chippa United.
